If game is crashing on startup and crashes to desktop or have random crashes in different places, you should run your game in Windowed Mode. If you can’t run game in windowed mode then go to Documents\Ubisoft\Blacklist\VideoSettings.ini, open it in Notepad, find these lines:

0 = Windowed
1 = Fullscreen (default)
2 = Windowed Fullscreen

Here you can change the values like if you want to run game in windowed mode, set the value “0” to “1”.

You can also try to change windows final style to make some effective changes, search "WindowStyleFinal=1" and change it to 0 or 2.

Splinter Cell Blacklist Key Code already in use – Fix

In case, when you launch game from Uplay client, and asked for activation key; and upon entering key it says, “This CD Key or Activation Code is already in use with another Uplay Account. For more information, please contact Ubisoft Support." To fix this problem, follow below steps:

  1. Run Uplay Client
  2. Click on Gear icon at top-right
  3. Select Change User from the list
  4. Now login with different account and try to give activation key here
