Gigabyte introduces Z87X-UD4H and Z87X-UD5H motherboards

Gigabyte has unveiled two new mini-ITX motherboards named ‘Z87X-UD4H’ and ‘Z87X-UD5H’. Gigabyte Z87X-UD4H features a 16-phase VRM for CPU and four DDR3 memory slots. Three PCI-Express 3.0 x16 slots are present with x16/x8/x4 interface as for much one PCI-Express 2.0 x1 and standard PCI connectors. There are six SATA 6 Gbit/s ports, two eSATA Gbit/s, over 8 USB 3.0 connectors enabled. The I/O panel contains 7.1 HD Audio, Gigabit LAN as for much the DVI, D-Sub, HDMI and a DisplayPort available for display output.

NVidia has officially announced the GeForce GTX 780 graphic card, based on 28nm GK110 chip as GTX TITAN has. The GTX 780 is the first edition from GeForce GTX 700 series and has 2,304 CUDA Cores, 192 TMUs as for much the GTX TITAN has 2,688 CUDA Cores and 224 TMUs. It is not a big difference but if we compare the price then the margin will 2/3 price. GeForce GTX 780 features 384-bits GDDR5 memory interface with 3 GB of memory, meanwhile it is 50% more powerful than the GeForce GTX 680. The look and design of GTX TITAN and GTX 780 is almost same.

ASUS has showcased all Z87 motherboards lineup for Intel’s upcoming Haswell processors. There are Maximus VI Extreme, Maximus VI Hero, Maximus VI Gene Z, Sabertooth Z87, Gryphon Z87, Z87 Deluxe Pro, Deluxe, Pro, Plux and Z87i-Deluxe included in ASUS’s Z87 lineup. ASUS’s Maximus VI Extreme features red and black color scheme with 8-pin and 4-pin power connectors and it is built for LGA 1150 socket as for much a 6-pin power connector requires for PCI-Express expansion slots. ASUS presents new Z87 motherboards lineup named TUF (The Ultimate Force) Series. TUF series features extra-durable motherboards entitled the Z87-Sabertooth and the Z87-Gryphon.
