ASUS unveils A88XM-A and A55BM-A/USB3 motherboards for AMD FM2+ APUs

ASUS has again step forward to other manufacturers companies, and made the world’s first motherboards for AMD FM2+ APUs (Accelerated Processing Units). The firm rolls out two motherboards entitled A88XM-A and A55BM-A/USB3. The first one is based on AMD A88X chipset and second one based on A55 chipset. Both boards are Micro-ATX for AMD 'Richland' and 'Trinity' FM2 APUs and also ready for AMD’s upcoming processor ‘Kaveri’ as well.

Gigabyte adds Rev. 4 in 990FXA-UD3 motherboard

 

Gigabyte has released the fifth revision of its 990FXA-UD3 AM+ motherboard. The Rev. 4 features a host of changes over its UEFI-equipped predecessor which is 10-phase CPU VRM with different chokes, MOSFETs and capacitors. It has also newer VRM and heatsinks to handle higher thermal loads and Gigabyte’s new UEFI setup program as well. The 990FXA-UD3 Rev. 4 supports AMD FX Vishera processors.

ASRock announced H87E-ITX/ac Mini-ITX motherboard

ASRock announces the new mini-ITX motherboard entitled, H87E-ITX/ac, features 802.11ac WLAN. As its name it is based on Intel’s H87 express chipset and supports Intel Haswell processors with LGA1150 socket. It requires 24-pin ATX and 8-pin EPS connectors to run and also have two DDR3 memory slots, supports up to 32GB of dual-channel. A PCI-Express 3.0 x16 slot is available for display.
